What is the projected timeline?

We are currently wrapping up the entitlement process with the City of Broomfield. We expect this to be finished in the 2nd quarter of this year. Once complete, we have three years to break ground. Construction will begin as soon as possible, but will largely depend on our finances and the sale of our non-church land. Our goal is to have services in the new building in Dec 2012. This date is not far off - we need your help in getting there!

Why so much land?

We purchased 77 acres, but have intended from day one to sell a portion of that land. By doing so, after entitlement, we hope to eliminate our debt on the land. Keeping a large portion of that land will enable us to achieve our ministry goals of being a hub for planting new churches in the north metro Denver area and beyond. Additionally, it will give us plenty of room for growth.

Will the church take out a mortgage?

We currently have a mortgage on the land that we trust will be paid off before we begin building. For the financing of the new building, we will look at all options including; traditional financing, capital campaigns, bonding, alternate funding options, and, of course, the sale of current assets including our current church campus, The Venue, and portions of our land.

How much land do we own?

As stated above, we own 77 acres of land at the SW corner of I-25 and Northwest Parkway. After entitlement, we plan on selling approximately half of that land leaving us with approximately 35 acres to use as church property.

What will happen with our existing buildings?

Our plan is to sell those buildings/assets to help fund the new construction, but we will look at other options as well.

Why are we building such a large campus?

As stated, we will look at selling approximately half of the land which will leave us with approximately 35 acres. While this is still a lot of land, you will be amazed at how quickly it is used when you begin adding multiple buildings (multi-purpose buildingd, children's, youth, administrative, sanctuaries, chapels, etc.) as well as adequate parking space. Obviously, not all of these will be built in phase one (construction of main campus shown in the master plan), but we will eventually grow and need phase two, three and beyond. Only the Lord knows the answered. This will also give us room for recreational purposes and other outreach opportunities.

Are we just trying to build a big church?

We already are a big church; we just meet in a small building. Currently, we are divided into four smaller congregations that make up a much larger church. We must understand that while it may not be our aim to be a big church, or mega-church, for lack of a better term, we have been blessed by God and are faced with the reality of who He has made us.

What will happen with Remedy and Ignite Youth Ministries?

Our plan is to move Ignite and Remedy onto the same campus. Where they will meet at that campus is unknown at this time. This development will also give us the opportunity to offer other worship-style specific venues on our campus, providing additional opportunities for churchgoers to pick where they best fit in and worship with the song of their heart.
