What is Faith Promise?

Simply explained, Faith Promise is a fund raising effort to support The Crossing Church and the General Church of the Nazarene in their mission and outreach efforts for the duration of one year.  One hundred percent of the financing needed to support these efforts comes from Faith Promise giving.

However! Faith Promise is something much more...

It is a promise between you and God to give a specific dollar amount.  We call it Faith Promise because it is a promise given out of faith according to what God lays on your heart to give.  Then, it’s a matter of trust between you and God that He will provide those funds.  Faith Promise starts with prayer, then a calling according to what God has asked you to trust Him to provide.

Our giving goal runs from March 1, 2011 - February 29, 2012 for the new year!

World Evangelism Fund supports the worldwide mission effort of the Church of the Nazarene. From the Global Ministry Center to districts and churches around the world, including missionary salaries and health care in over 155 world areas.

Local Expenses include educational materials, mission books & CDs, missions speaker expenses, office supplies, newsletter, brochures, printing costs, postage, professional expenses and staff salary for a full-time Local Missionary.

Jesus of Nazareth is our Nazarene inner-city ministry where the MIssion is To Evangelize the Hurting via Compassionate Ministries and Love Them into the Church. Together we are gonna see a lot of Jesus "Bringin' good outta da Hood".

Ministries include the 4 outreach areas as found in Acts 1:8 "... and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.

It also includes our ministry efforts with Emergency Management/ Disaster Response Team - a group of people who are trained to respond to emergency situations.
