I am so blessed to have a job that I love – working with children and their parents.  I am also fortunate to have a dedicated staff that makes our center a great place for kids.  That’s why I’ve been here since 1978!  It’s fun to see our students grow and become vibrant contributors to the community.  I believe we have a caring place that makes a difference in the life of each child.  May God have all the glory for the blessings we receive!

My background includes a B.S. degree in elementary education from CU.  I taught Kindergarten in my first teaching position.  I have facilitated parenting classes through Love and Logic since 1993.

In 1970, I married Keith who also is a Denver native.  We have two grown children and three grandchildren.  I enjoy the Denver sports teams and traveling.  Keith’s hobby of paleontology has taken us from the deserts of Utah looking for fossil insects to the beaches of Florida hunting fossil shark’s teeth.

I was honored to make the trip of my lifetime in January 1999.  Westminster Nazarene Church gave me a trip to Israel after my 20 years at Noah’s Ark.  After seeing so many of the Biblical sites, it’s amazing how the Bible comes “alive” as I picture the places as I read.

It’s exciting to be a part of the child care ministry at Westminster Nazarene Church.  I believe as we constantly strive to keep improving, the best is still ahead.

Sincerely,
